1- someone please tell my roommate that the toilet flusher is in fact, NOT broken. She obviously must think it is since she never...ever... Flushes. Hey roommate, it's not a porta-potty.
2- here it is very common to say that something is "mono" or "mona" if it is cute. So if a baby is cute, they'll say "awww que mono!", like how cute. But what gets me is the word "mono" means "monkey"... Hmmm...couldn't think of a different word?
3- I miss driving. I haven't driven since December 27.
4- since I am free (besides private lessons) until I leave for Prague June 18, I have decided to plan a trip up north to Galicia bc people say it's so different climate and terrain-wise from anything I've seen thus far. Very green, very beautiful rocky coastlines, very far. The thing is, all my friends are still working then. So I figured I came to this country by myself, I can go sightseeing in a different region by myself. I like to call this Personal Zen Trip 2011. Stay tuned for details.
