Again, I'm very behind in posting these pictures---these were from Semana Santa, my spring break last month. These pictures are from when I began traveling with my boyfriend, Cliff. Here we started off in Granada. Our first night there, we did a night tour of La Alhambra's palacios (palaces). I have mentioned in earlier posts from when I visited La Alhambra with my family a month before this trip...La Alhambra is an Arabian palace from before the Christians conquered Granada way back when. It is absolutely enormous, amazing and Spain's biggest tourist attraction.
Since we were traveling at the beginning of a very busy tourism week, we were only able to get tickets to visit the Alhambra in two parts: the palaces at night; and the gardens the next afternoon. I actually recommend doing the tour in two days because seeing everything on the Alhambra "campus" easily takes 3.5 hours.
We were watching the sunset and this restaurant was down below from where we were sitting. We ended up eating there on the terrace. AMAZING view of La Alhambra. Pictures can't even begin to really depict how incredible it was.
Cliff took some amazing pictures in the gardens...
Cliff was sent to the dungeon.
Stopped for a bit to relax and take in the beauty of the gardens.
...then Cliff joined and got super relax mode :)
