Surprise party...

 Ok so I've been slacking on updating this business...private English classes and siestas just keep getting in the way of my nerdy blog!  Rude!

So about three weeks ago I think (I kept forgetting to upload these pics), one of my classes surprised me with a party during class.  This class is a high beginner level and they are all around 13-14 years old (one of my two young classes---the rest of my students are between 16-18). 

It was extra special because they brought homemade, typical Spanish foods for me to try.  They were so proud...it was awesome.  Totally made my day.

 This is my really good friend, Judith, who is the teacher for this group of students.  She and I have been in contact since before the school year even started, way back when I thought I was going to start working here in October.  It's been awesome getting to know her.  She has helped me with so much here and we have a lot of good laughs.  She is muy maja (really nice)!  :)

I love all of these guys---they're so sweet.  It was a very nice, thoughtful surprise.  They were so excited to see my reaction to all of their amazing Spanish dishes.
